- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I am from Statesville NC. I have lived in Winston Salem twice. I feel I'm here to stay now. The WS police department have been a blessing to me on two occasions. And you just don't get that ACT OF KINDNESS in other cities. I can go on and on about the two experiences, but has time for that, let's just say that I appreciate this department, and can only hope you'll be an example to other police departments. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★WSPD has been extremely professional with me in all my dealings with them. I cannot speak for all of the officers on the force but I can say without a doubt that the officers who I have dealt with did their job and ensured that all went as it was supposed to. I have had two dealings with them in the last three years for a speeding ticket and a car accident(which wasn't my fault). They were fair and professional the whole time. I again say that I cannot speak for every officer, but I do believe that the ones I dealt with were great examples of law enforcement.
